THE NATIONAL REGISTRY'S LISTING CATEGORIES
The NotaryPublic.com National Registry offers three listing categories: Basic, Professional, and Executive.
The listing type that you choose will be the primary criteria used in determining your placement in search results.
For instance, when a lender or signing company performs a search, the order in which National Registry search
results are presented is as follows. All Executive listings matching the user's geographic search criteria are
displayed first. The next listing category to be displayed are Professional listings, followed by Basic listings.

RANKING NUMBERS
Ranking numbers determine your position within your chosen listing category. Listings within each category are
displayed in order of decreasing ranking number. New listings are assigned an initial ranking number of 10.
Your listing's ranking number is denoted by the letter "R", followed by a 2-digit number. Ranking
numbers are displayed in every listing on the Registry's search results pages.

GAINING THE ADVANTAGE
Your position in search results is never permanent. You can always improve your listing's visibility by increasing
your ranking number. If you service an area that has many listings preceding yours, you may purchase additional
ranking points to better your position. If you ever find that your listing is on the tenth page in search results
and you want to jump all the way to first place in your category, simply purchase enough ranking points to exceed
the first place holder's ranking by just one point!
For example, if the first place listing is ranked at "R21" and your listing has a ranking of "R10",
you will only have to purchase 12 ranking points to instantly move your listing to the top spot! However, keep
in mind that if you want to hold that spot for a while, it is a good idea to purchase enough ranking points to exceed
the top spot's ranking number by more than just one point!

MAINTAINING SENIORITY
If all listings within a given category have the same ranking number, then the final criterion used to determine
display order is your listing's initial creation date/time. A listing that has been renewed without lapse for
several years will retain its original creation date/time. It is important to renew your listing before its
expiration date in order to maintain your "seniority".
